Daily is a private-beta, application-based offer. Keep your original records. Getting started with customers, routes, and time tracking does not mean every historical invoice or attachment has been migrated. Discuss additional history separately.

When each fits

Paper & spreadsheets: Keep a simple manual system if the team can reliably find the current plan, record hours, and resolve changes without repeated handoffs. A new tool is not automatically a better process.

Daily: Consider Daily when schedules, notes, photos, and hours are scattered and the office spends its time piecing them together. Start with one clear time-tracking date, not a project to digitize every old file.

Daily's setup starts with crew structure, then customers and properties from QuickBooks Online or a list in any format, followed by routes from photos, screenshots, or exports. The team is on call throughout the agreed first time-tracking day. Daily's managed setup process ↗

Compare the proposed software terms with your actual manual process. Track the handoffs you want to remove; do not assume a fixed number of hours saved or guaranteed financial return. Discuss fit with Daily ↗

Daily connects recurring stops, project time, field notes and photos, and office review. Confirm required integrations with our team; roadmap items are not counted as available features.

What to ask in a demo

Use a normal week's route sheet. Pick a property with a note the crew needs, a visit that changes, and an extra the office must review. Follow that information from the morning plan to the end-of-day record.

  • Can everyone tell which version of the route is current?
  • Where do crew photos and property notes go today?
  • Who checks the hours, and what happens when something is missing?
  • Which records need to move now, and which can remain archived?
