Why We Built Daily Inside a 44 Year Old Landscape Company
Megan explains why real landscape operations — not a software demo — became the blueprint for Daily.

Daily is built inside Geared for Growing, a 44-year-old landscape company in Sonoma County. The product has to work for live routes, payroll, projects, customers, and crews every day.

The founders
Megan and Lee Mokri are the co-founders of Daily. Megan spent two decades building technology companies and raised nearly $30 million in venture capital before becoming an owner-operator in landscaping. After trying the industry’s established systems, she built the operating layer their company needed.
That combination—deep technical experience and founders accountable to a real operation—is the point. Daily’s roadmap is shaped by the office staff and crews using it, then widened with a small cohort of landscape companies who want a closer partner.

Operator first
Weather, staffing, materials, customer decisions, and field conditions do not wait for a software release cycle. Building Daily inside the operation keeps the priorities honest: fewer lost handoffs, clearer decisions, and a system crews can use without slowing down.
What we believe
If the workflow does not work in the truck, it does not work.
The office, crew, project, property, and invoice should share the same truth.
The best roadmap comes from companies accountable for real work, margins, and customers.
